Bug Report – Divi Supreme Pro (Beta for Divi 5) – Flip Box module rendering issues

Hello Divi Supreme Team, I’m currently building my new website with Divi 5 (public beta) and using the Divi Supreme Pro beta version announced as compatible with Divi 5. I’ve noticed some visual inconsistencies that seem to affect only the Flip Box module. Here are the details: ° Context - WordPress: up to date - Divi 5: current public beta - Divi Supreme Pro: latest beta version for Divi 5 - Cache and optimization plugins (LiteSpeed, etc.) temporarily disabled but the issue with the Flip Box module remains exactly the same with or without LiteSpeed active. - Divi Performance options adjusted (Critical CSS and Defer jQuery/jQuery Migrate disabled) - I have deleted the Divi Supreme Lite plugin, which was already deactivated, since the Pro beta version for Divi 5 is supposed to be standalone. - All Divi caches cleared and several hard refreshes performed ° Observed issues (Flip Box module only) 1. Builder vs Front-end inconsistencies 1.1 In the Visual Builder: - font sizes display correctly - text alignment (left) display correctly - typography display correctly - colors display correctly 1.2 On the front-end (outside the builder): - font sizes are incorrect (smaller or inconsistent) - text alignment switches to “center” even when set to “left” - typography is correctly applied - font color handling behaves inconsistently depending on the Flip Box. 2. Differences between Flip A and Flip B 2.1 I created two Flip Boxes with similar structure: - Flip A → background and text color customized - Flip B → background and text color customized differently 2.2 On the front-end: - Flip A → background and text color are both displayed correctly, typography respected, font size not respected. - Flip B → background color respected, but text color ignored, typography respected, font size not respected. In the Visual Builder, both boxes display exactly as configured. 3. No access to Divi Supreme settings panel - The “Divi Supreme → Settings” menu does not appear in the WordPress dashboard in this beta version, so I cannot clear custom styles or regenerate the plugin’s CSS. ° Additional information - Native Divi modules (Text, Blurb, Button, etc.) are working perfectly, so this issue appears to be specific to Divi Supreme Flip Box. - Other Supreme modules haven’t been tested yet, so I can’t confirm if the same behavior occurs elsewhere. Cordially, Kim

Hi Hakim, Thanks for reporting the issues with Flipbox, but I wasn't able to replicate them on my end. However I did see Text Alignment issue, which will be addressed in the next beta. Can you please send us an email at support@divisupreme.com with a login to your site and the url of the page where the flipbox is so we can take a look? Make sure to link this Issue in the email. The Divi Supreme settings option will be available in a future update, this is something we haven't work on yet.

Divi Supreme Subject: Update on Flip Box styling issue – temporary workaround found, but not optimal Hi Divi Supreme Team, Following up on my previous message regarding the visual inconsistencies in the Flip Box module within Divi Supreme Pro (beta version for Divi 5). After further testing, I’ve found a temporary workaround, but it’s not optimal. Summary of my findings: When I edit the text settings (alignment, size, color, etc.) directly inside each side of the Flip Box (Front A / Back B), everything looks correct in the Divi Builder, but not on the frontend. However, when I apply those same settings globally at the Flip Box module level, the rendering is correct on the site. The issue is that this global method applies the same styles to both sides, which prevents independent customization of each face (for example, using a different color or text size on the back side). Kind regards, Kim (Hakim Menikh)
